It is a species belonging to hardiness zone 8, with an average annual minimum temperature range of -12.2 / -6.7°C.
Its water needs are very low, especially once it is well rooted, being able to withstand long periods of drought. It can be watered only occasionally during summer.
Convolvulus cneorum prefers to be located in full sun, such as in sunny sustainable gardens or on sunny coastal meadows, as it is also a species resistant to salinity and sea breeze.
In relation to soil type, it prefers neutral or slightly siliceous, although it can tolerate calcareous soils. All of them well drained and with an acidophilic pH.

It is a very interesting species to be planted alone or together with other low-growing shrub species, forming ground covers. Very suitable plant for rockeries. In Barcelona, specimens can be found in the Botanical Garden.
As main care, it is advisable to perform a light pruning after flowering to rejuvenate the aerial part of the plant and watch for possible pests such as aphids and spider mites.
Viveros Sala Graupera grows this species in two formats, in 1 and 3 liter containers.
It is a highly recommended plant that we encourage you to try.
